Bring me alive
Let the feathers fly
Without the stretch
Of a bird’s might
Or the glance may tumble
Twitched into excitement
By the flash of the Moon’s
Wings
Burning bright
And the ocean may wet
The pathway
For the Sun to warm
The house
Floating on Tsunami’s woes
Bring me life
For the arc of my hands
to melt into the sand
I plough
In search of
Robbed words
Of love and comfort
gone wild
Or the cities
Carved out of rocks
May strip their bones
Skulls and flesh
A naked love bite
Plastered on the walls
The blood of a conquistador
Shreds delight
A paramour’s navel
Holds the trembling drop
Of sweat
Of her lover’s lips
Between them
The Sun and its cities
Die with me every night….
